What's New: EHCA Meeting (May 6, 2008) *details for each event can be found further down this page

Edmondson Heights is a townhouse community built in the mid-1950s by Phillip Macht/Welch Construction Company. Shortly afterwards, an elementary school was added to the community and the park area was improved. The Macht Company invited interested new homeowners to form a committee to help see that structural claims were satisfied by building contractors, deal with county departments relative to water and sewer, roadway, police, education, parks, and recreation, and to manage the covenants that each new home owner had signed at settlement. This committee became the Edmondson Heights Civic Association (EHCA). EHCA is the voice of approximately 1100 homeowners in the Edmondson Heights area. The officers and Board of Governors are elected each year, and the projects and activities reflect the interests and vision of the homeowners.
The Association has since broadened it base. Some of the Associations current activities are sponsoring a yearly Easter Egg hunt, Community Clean Up, A Code Enforcement program, A Covenant Enforcement program (a copy of the current Covenant "guidelines" is found elsewhere on this website) and Citizens On Patrol. The General membership meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month with the exception of July and August or any other time school is closed such as on Election Day. Effective 7-1-05, new residents dues will be $20 per year and are mandatory. If you have any questions or would like further information about the organization and neighborhood, please email ehca@ehcaonline.org
